Noncommutative geometry of symplectic resolutions

Victor Ginzburg (University of Chicago )

Abstract: We introduce the notion of symplectic resolution, discuss related algebraic and Poisson geometry and also corresponding quantizations. Much of the talk will be devoted to important examples arising from semisimple Lie algebras, orbifolds, and quivers.
