#### Monotonicity of relative entropy

###### Xinan Chen (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign)

Abstract: Use Lieb's concavity theorem to show relative entropy is monotone decreasing under quantum channels. This is also known as data processing inequality (DPI). I will also present a short proof for subadditivity and strong subadditivity using DPI.

#### Stochastic Differential Equations and Unitaries (Part 3)

###### Marius Junge (UIUC)

Abstract: Applications of Brownian motion and SDE. For example, show that an operator is completely positive by using SDE.

#### Zero Error communication and quantum Lovasz function

###### Chloe Kim (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign)

Abstract: We will review the result of the paper "zero-error communication via quantum channels, non-commutative graphs and a quantum Lovasz function" by Duan, Severini, and Winter. We will first briefly review zero error capacity for classical communication, and introduce the quantum analogue of it.
